About Elizabeth Kopple
Elizabeth Kopple began writing creative nonfiction after her 18-year-old son Henry was killed on his first day of college in 2022. Her Huffington Post essay went viral and was read by over a million people. Her writing explores grief, loss, and relationships.
Elizabeth is also an established B2B marketer who began her career at American Express. She now focuses on content marketing for clients including Google, PayPal, and Plaid. In her free time, she supports the College Safety Coalition which advocates for the Corey College Safety Act. She was born and raised in Southern California and graduated from UPenn, later earning an MBA from Wharton. She lives with her husband and Henry’s younger brother in Santa Monica where she is working on a memoir focused on the loss of her son.
